How I started

Hi! I'm Bena — a homeschooling mom of three, an educator at heart, and the creator of Littleversity. 

I started Littleversity because I believe young children are capable of learning so much more than we often give them credit for. When my family began homeschooling, I wanted to teach my kids real, meaningful ideas — not just the ABCs and 123s, but why things work, how the world fits together, and how to ask great questions. What started as handmade activities for my boys quickly grew into printable resources that I now share with families and educators around the world.

Through Littleversity, I create playful, hands-on learning materials that turn big concepts like atoms, energy, and ecosystems into fun and doable experiences for kids. I also design creative phonics notebooks that go beyond "A is for Apple"—because every letter has a world of possibilities to explore! My hope is to empower parents and teachers with tools that make learning joyful, curiosity-led, and beautifully simple.
